Warehouse Stationery rolled out a New Zealand-wide 'Get Writing' project for schools last term. Each participating class was 'buddied' with another class somewhere in New Zealand for the purpose of exchanging postcards and an 'All About Us' poster. This was a motivating writing task that gave us a real audience for our stunning metaphor writing. Mrs Skinner's literacy group exchanged writing with Waverley Park School in Invercargill. It was SO exciting to get our courier pack from them!
